Can't help being Carreyed away!

One of my biggest entertainers on the Hollywood movie arena has been Jim Carrey.
I wasn't much into these movies earlier, but quite catching up with them for the past few months, I landed up admiring this amusing character while I was browsing through the set of channels on TV one weekend, and stumbled upon Bruce Almighty.

Bruce Almighty, I should admit, is the best one that I have seen of him till now. I never miss it even if I had watched it for half-a-dozen times by then.
Though I haven't watched much of his movies - just a few being Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, The Truman Story and bits-and-pieces of Dumb and Dumber.
His movies might appear quite monotonous to many, due to similar kind of comic scenes that he's into and the way his role ends up, but that's the main factor which has grown on me.

His movies that usually start with the bumpy comic scenes with his, have few emotional/self-realization scenes at the end that makes up for a pleasant closure.

He has been quite a difference compared to what is usually churned out of Hollywood.

American Idol - No more for this season!

It was a rude shock for me watching the last few minutes of American Idol last thursday ever since I have been following this season's show quite closely. And yeah, you know why - Michael Johns was surprisingly in the bottom three contestants, and more unbelievably was booted out of the contest.

He was the contestant I was ever voting for since his performance of Bohemian Rhapsody - a performance that completely mesmerized me. Though other contestants, especially David Cook too, was getting my support, this didn't deter me to drop off voting for MJ every week which is not the case for others.

I'm one of those who is still in shock for this guy leaving the show when I strongly felt him to be winning this, or was definitely assured of him being atleast a runner up.

Now I'm totally disappointed with this show, and have nothing to expect out of it. The only reason if I may still be watching this for rest of this season would definitely be DC, but I have made up my mind not to participate in voting anymore.

I eagerly awaited his performances every week during the show. As assserted by Simon too, I would definitely be missing his performances as he was the main reason why I was watching AI.

I hope he comes out with his album very soon. Till then, I would be continuing to watch his performances on youtube.

Ground breaking?

....this was one of the lumbering plans that I had to wait for a long time, possibly because of my high-profile activities as can be seen on my profile.
Now that this has seen the light of the day when my clock is just about to hit 12 midnight here, I want to see my profile being updated with a new task now by me.

And when it comes to justification of my blog name or the URL, I really don't have one. Eh?
Well, to be frank with the reasoning behind this, I'm a Leo who at all doesn't believe in Zodiac signs and am neither geeky - you don't see these in my profile (self justification to the core, huh?) .

So it all happened in the midst of this irony that I was long looking for a suitable name for my blog, which was definitely one reason for being late to the party. I was juggling through a lot of words online and at other repositories to make up for my online space. However, this struck my brain all of a sudden - like a thunder from the azure sky and it was lying available here, only for me to fill it up!

Now that I have made a royale entry into the arena, let me continue spreading my brilliance around.
